i freakin love Deus ex, especially the words over violance option. buuuuutttt, wat does "deus ex" mean?

Deus Ex means 'God out of' or 'God from'. It is usually used in terms such as Deus Ex Machina which means 'God out of the Machine' in which a plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem is suddenly and abruptly solved with the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new event, character, ability, or object.

In the original Deus Ex's case it could have been talking about the original 'ending' wherein JC merges with an AI to 'save the world'. So in DXHR's case it means 'God out of the Human Revolution' or 'God out of the Hands Revolution' if you want to get really picky about it.

All in all it's a title that is meant to imply someone or something will change the world.

Passed half of the game, still fresh memories)) So sorry for Adam, lost his girl, he almost died, but still torn between the views of "implants is good or bad." I love these games, when all iraesh experiencing what is happening on the screen, each in its own =3
